I love those truly revolutionary ideas that you would never have thought of! The lowered seating is fantastic because it really compartmentalises the room. It’s a real centrepiece to have four sofas facing each other and not a television, which actually make it really post-modern. Moveable counters are a great idea for opening up the kitchen for entertaining. One of the most practical ideas is underfloor storage – it essentially makes use of that empty piece of space just beneath the ceiling – by raising the floor up, you’re not losing anything, but gaining a whole bunch of useful space.
