Make your own art
Art doesn’t have to be complicated or take any extraordinary skill. The two pieces below were made by leaving dots of paint along a canvas and then moving the canvas. Below, the canvas was tilted horizontally using a scraper tool, and finally silver leaf was added for a finishing touch.
For this art piece, the paint was thinner, and the paper was moved free hand in all directions. You can always play it safe if you’re not confident in your skills, using a neutral colour palette, with one pop of something a little different (eg. silver leaf or bronze).

Customised bookshelves can be simpler than you think to implement with some DIY persistence. Firstly, frame your wall with wooden planks, create vertical segments, then fill these with shelves, and voila!
